Sakchira Wiengkao of Baisri Studios, Northern Thailand
The extraordinary gardens of Thailand's leading fashion designer, Sakchira Wiengkao, are renowned throughout Asia. The stunning array of orchids, heliconia, and other native species adorn the grounds of his Baisri Studio in Northern Thailand, where he makes his home. On quiet afternoons, he often turns to his lush gardens for rejuvenation and inspiration. Taking out his sketch pad, he often makes studies of the plants. This collection of four heliconia and four orchids are the outcome.
Each 18-inch-square pillow is handpainted on the highest-quality cotton fabric and reflects the vitality and depth of the living plants they so accurately reflect. With his artist's eye, Sakchira Wiengkao's attention to detail and realism set these functional works of art apart. Each pillow cover is beautifully constructed at the Baisri Studio.

Table Dressings & More Pillow Designs
Eye for the Find also has a collection of stunning table dressings from Sakchira Wiengkao's famous Baisri Studio in Northern Thailand. These coordinated works of textile art are made of the finest quality materials and hand-assembled by working textile artists. Many feature intricate detailing, such as appliques of antique fabrics, beads forming patterns reminiiscent of an outdoor woodland, and deeply patterned, rich handwoven fabrics.
Sakchira Wiengkao has built a reputation as one of Thailand's top fashion designers, and we now have a line of his trend-setting expandable handbags.
