The original handcrafted art-glass nail file from Eye for the Find is made of high-quality tempered glass for durability. Each is made by a glass artist. No two are alike.
Sure, glass nail files sound fragile; doesn't everything made of glass? But in truth, these files are remarkably sturdy and with reasonable care they will last a lifetime. (To us, reasonable care means don't drop it on concrete or tile, or let it roam free in your handbag.) Occasionally, like all glass, a nail file will break. But it cannot shatter because it is made of tempered glass--just like the windshield in your car. These files are of the highest quality etched glass from the Czech Republic, where some of the world's finest glass is made. Each file is embellished with a handcrafted dichroic glass bead, which is permanently affixed to the file. The files come in three sizes: small (ideal for the handbag), medium (great for the home or office), and large for the feet (and ideal for diabetic foot care). Each file comes in a felted carrying case.
